Bravo, a 1985 graduate of WNMU, set many marks on the baseball diamond throughout his career. He posted a .400 batting average for two years and holds a .385 career average. Held eight career batting records that includes the highest batting average in a season (.403), most at-bats (263), most hits (106), most runs (88), most doubles (21), most triples (5), most steals (21) and most walks (35). He was a two-year captain and was named to the 1983 All-RMAC Team and 1984 All-RMAC Tournament Team. He made the Dean’s List, was on student government, was in the Who’s Who in 1984-85, the W Club and Great Race participant all four years. Some team records include the 1983 team being the NAIA batting champions with a .390 average and in 1984 they were the RMAC Conference Champions. He completed his bachelor’s degree in physical education with a minor in spanish and is a graduate of Lordsburg High School. He is currently employed at Las Cruces High as a special education teacher and coach, along with being employed by the Los Angeles Dodgers as their Director of Cultural Assimilation.
