Western New Mexico University Athletics

Maggie Perea-Lopez was a four year member of the WNMU Women's Athletic Association (WAA) and served as the WAA president during her sophomore year.  She participated in volleyball, basketball, and softball and was a first team selection in all three sports.

As a senior, Maggie received the Outstanding Service and Leadership Award and the Extramural High Honors Award. 

She has enjoyed a successful career in public education and currently coaches and teaches physical education at La Plata Middle School in Silver City, New Mexico.
