Kenny “Mack” Pace,l from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, graduated from WNMU in 1960 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. While at WNMU, Pace was a member of the All-Conference teams for both basketball and football. Pace was co-captain of the football team and captain of the basketball team when he earned the All-Sports Trophy.

After graduating from WNMU, Pace continued to stay active in sports. Pace was named Mira Monte & Sierra Leagues Coach of the Year eight times and San Gabriel Valley Coach of the Year three times.
