Mr. Harold Howard, is a 1964 graduate from Rochester, Indiana. This multi-sport athlete participated in basketball, track and golf.

As a four-year letterwinner in basketball, Howard was voted the team’s most valuable player in 1961 and 1962. This led to two honors as an All-Conference selection and one Little All-American District 7 selection. In 1962, Howard tied the fieldhouse record of most points in one game with 43 points. He shared this honor with Brook Jenning. Also in 1962, he also was a member of the first-place winning relay track team.

An active member of the Western New Mexico University Alumni Association Indiana Chapter, Howard has two children, Cheryl and Kevan, and is married to his wife, Nancy. Howard also has one grandson named Christopher Shirley.
