Academic Services

Advising

First and second year student athletes will meet with Jackie for academic advising and course registration.

Incoming transfer student-athletes will meet with Miss Jackie before transitioning to their assigned faculty advisor within their academic program.

Student athletes in their third year or beyond will work directly with their faculty advisor for academic advising and registration. To schedule an appointment with an advisor in the Advising Center, visit: https://wnmu.appointment451.sites.451.io/?category=Advising

Eligibility Monitoring

All student athletes will work with Jackie to monitor NCAA and institutional academic eligibility requirements. Regular eligibility checks help ensure student-athletes remain on track for competition and degree completion.

Tutoring

Student athletes seeking academic assistance are encouraged to contact Jackie. She can connect you with a peer tutor or help you access tutoring services through the Math Lab, Writing Center, and other campus academic support resources.

Laptop Checkout

Laptops are available for checkout in the Athletic Achievement Center Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

If you need to use a laptop outside of the Achievement Center, please contact Media Technology Services at media_technologies@wnmu.edu to arrange a laptop rental.

Athletic Achievement Center

The WNMU Athletic Achievement Center (AAC) is available to all WNMU student athletes and serves as a dedicated space for academic success. The AAC is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (hours may vary during holidays, university breaks and home game days).

Student-athletes can check in for study hall, borrow a laptop, meet with peer tutors, study in a quiet environment, and take advantage of free printing services. Whether you need a place to focus, complete assignments, or receive academic support, the AAC is here to help you succeed both in the classroom and in competition.
