Pueblo, CO – The Western New Mexico University Men's Golf played in the Southern Colorado Masters, playing their first two rounds at the Walking Stick Golf Course in Pueblo, CO. The Mustangs are 3rd, shooting 288-296 at (+8).

Two Mustangs are in the top-10. Joey Geary (Phoenix, AZ/Sunnyslope HS) is T-5th at (-2). Geary carded a 70 and 72. Adam Niles (Kamloops, BC/Valley View Secondary) is currently 8th and (-1), shooting a 69 and 74. 

Adam Samnegard (Norrkoping, SWE/Hagagymnasiet HS/Garden City CC) is T-21st at (+3) ending the day with a 73 and 74. Carding a 76 and 78, Aaron Perales (Deming, NM/Deming HS) is currently T-46th at (+10). Harry O'Callaghan (Leeds, ENG/Priesthorpe HS) played in his tournament of the year. He shot an 81 and 76, putting him at (+13) and T-56th

 Arnav Arkanath (Milton Keyes, GB/Sir Henry Floyd HS) and Yong To Kim (Seoul, So. Korea/Colegio Han Al Americano) played as individuals. Kim shot a 73 and Arkanath shot a pair of 82's.

The Mustangs are (-19) on par 5's, averaging 4.53. They also are leading the field in birdies with 37. Samnegard is (-6) for par fives, which is T-5th in the field.

Three CSU-Pueblo players lead the field. In first is Adam Ni at (-7), shooting a 66 and 71. In second is Jamie Roberts, carding a 69 and 70. Liam Duncan is in 3rd carding a 67 and 73.

Leading the Southern Colorado Masters is #27 CSU-Pueblo who is (-22). Colorado Mesa is (+5) and in second. In third is WNMU at (+8).

The Mustangs will continue the Southern Colorado Masters hosted by CSU-Pueblo at 8:30am tomorrow.
