Silver City, NM-  The Western New Mexico University Men's Golf team is ranked 19th in the first GolfStat rankings for the 2020-2021 season.

Head Coach Kent Beatty has lead the Mustangs to an average adjusted team score of 73.10 and with a drop score of 79.56.

WNMU started the fall with a huge win at the RJGA South Central Preview at Butterfield Trail Golf Club in El Paso, TX. The freshman out of Kamloops, British Columbia, Adam Niles finished second individually, scoring 71-69-70 for his first collegiate tournament. 

Amongst all NCAA Division II golfers, Senior Harry O'Callaghan is ranked No. 37 overall in GolfStat ranking. Averaging 72.56, the England native is a consistent leader for the Mustangs.

Niles is not too far behind O'Callaghan, ranking at 38th, averaging 72.73. Sophomore Joey Geary cracks the top-100, sitting at 88th. Geary is averaging a 73.39. The last Mustang on the list is Senior Sam Ruston at 111th, averaging 74.06. For the full Top-150 list click here.
