David Moore, a native of Sierra, Arizona, is recognized as a distinguished alumnus of Western New Mexico University, playing football and earned a bachelor's degree in public administration in 1993 and a master's degree in business administration in 1994. Since graduating, Moore has built a successful professional career with Sherwin-Williams and has gone on to serve as a chemical coatings representative, applying his skills and knowledge he developed during his time at the University.

Moore fondly recalls his experience at Western and shared that it is something he would not trade, and has noted how his education played a meaningful role in shaping his career path. He remains excited to reconnect with his former teammates, friends, faculty, and staff.

During his time at Western, Moore was recognized for his football and academic excellence, earning Honorable All-American, Academic All-American, and First Team All-American Honors.
Moore was inducted into the WNMU Hall of Fame in 2006.
