COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - The Western New Mexico women's tennis show valiant effort in conclusion of Colorado College Invitational.
Xaviera Malgar started her match well with a 6-2 win but fell 3-6 and 3-10 in the super tiebreaker.
Lucia Carmena (Alcala de Henares, Spain/Cet Alcala) ended her invitational with a 2-6, 4-6 loss. Eva Guta's (Bucharest, Romania) match did not favor her as well, as she fell 5-7, 1-6.Â
In doubles, Carmena and Guta did not have their best showing, as they would fall 1-6.
Sunday morning will wrap up the Colorado College Invitational, as the two will play for a chance to win the Colorado College Invitational.
The Mustangs will head to San Antonio, TX, playing in the Kimbell Memorial Invitational, hosted by St. Mary's University. First serve will be Friday, September 12th.
