Lawton, OK – The woman's tennis concludes their 2025-2026 season with their final match against the Cameron Aggies
The afternoon of the 25th started with the Mustangs taking on the Aggies in both doubles and singles matches, but the Mustangs eventually fell 2-4.
The match started with the Mustangs pairing into doubles with the duo of
Nikoletta Pytel (Warsaw, Poland/Cosinus Lódz (Poland)) and
Josefina Bailetti (Pergamino, Buenos Aires, Argentina/Colegio Nuestra Señora del Huerto) exiting the court conceding the match 1-6.
Xaviera Melgar (Tacna, Peru/Alexander Von Humboldt School) and
Eva Guta (Bucharest, Romania/Liceul Teoretic C.A. Rosetti (Romania)) exit the court dropping the match 2-4.
Lucia Carmena (Alcala de Henares, Spain/Les Complutense Alcala de Henares) and
Sofija Krstic's (Knjazevac, Serbia/Gymnasium 9th May) exit from the court came after falling 1-6.
The match continued into singles, where Bailetti was able to take the victory with her 6-1, 6-3.
Lucia Carmena (Alcala de Henares, Spain/Les Complutense Alcala de Henares) followed suit and was also able to grab victory with 7-6(7-4), and 6-2. Afterwards, Pytel fell 1-6, 0-6. Guta also dropped her match 2-6, 1-6, Melgar dropped the match 2-6, 1-6, and Krstic's maytch was left unfinished at 5-7 and 1-6.
The Mustangs have concluded their 2025-2026 season of 4-15.
