Goodyear, Ariz. – The WNMU women's golf team closed out the RJGA Palm Valley Classic with a solid eighth-place team finish, posting rounds of 296 (+8) and 301 (+13) for a tournament total of 597 (+21).
 
Alexandria Klemke (Goodyear, AZ/Estrella Foothills HS) was the top individual finisher for WNMU, tying for ninth with an even-par 144. Klemke opened the event with a stellar 69 (-3) and followed with a 75 (+3). Her top-10 finish marked one of the tournament's most competitive showings.

Falyn Lackey (Hobbs, NM/Hobbs HS) led the Mustangs in Round Two, firing a 73 (+1) to bounce back from her opening 77 (+5). She finished the tournament at 150 (+6), tying for 34th overall. Lackey's consistent performance helped stabilize WNMU's team score on the final day.
 
Shandiin Harper (Farmington, NM/Piedra Vista HS) also showed significant improvement on Day Two, shaving seven strokes off her first round with a 74 (+2) after opening with an 81 (+9). She closed the event T-65 at +11 (155).  

Erin Turner (Deming, NM/Deming HS), who opened with a strong 73 (+1), slipped in Round Two with an 81 (+9), finishing tied for 53rd at 154 (+10).  

Corynn Speer (Alamogordo, NM/Alamogordo, HS) contributed consistent scoring with rounds of 77 (+5) and 79 (+7). She tied for 72nd at 156 (+12).  

Kelly Peden (El Paso, TX/Eastwood HS), competing individually, finished in 113th place with a combined score of 170 (+26) after rounds of 81 (+9)and 89 (+17).
 
The Mustangs will conclude their season at the Lone Star Conference Championships, April 21–23, 2025, at Rockwall Golf and Athletic Club in Rockwall, Texas.
