ROCKWALL, TX. — The Western New Mexico Women's Golf team finished up the final round of their 2025-26 Season at the Lone Star Conference Championships, April 13th and finished in 11th in the 13 team field. They finished the day with a team score of +23 for a three round total of 313-307-311 for a (+67) total.

Alexandria Klemke (Goodyear, AZ/Estrella Foothills HS) led the way for the Mustangs all tournament, finishing her college career with a final round of 77 (+5) for a +10 total and a T20th finish in the field of 70. Klemke finishes out her collegiate career with a scoring average of 77.13 and will go down as one of the all-time leading scorers for the Lady Mustangs.

Corynn Speer (Alamogordo, NM/Alamogordo, HS) followed with a final round score of 74 (+2) that included an impressive 16 straight pars, for a two round total of 81-79-74 (+18), to finish up the event in a tie for 41st place. Falyn Lackey (Hobbs, NM/Hobbs HS) was next for the Mustangs with a final round score of 79 (+7), for a three round total of 78-79-79 (+20) and a T43rd finish individually.

Erin Turner (Deming, NM/Deming HS) ended the final day with a round of 83 (+11) to go along with her first two rounds of 84 and 73 for a +24 total and finished in T47th. Rounding out the lineup for the Mustangs, Nicole Jasso (Deming, NM/Deming HS) finished the final day with a score of 81 (+9), placing her in 56th with a +32 total.

This marks the end of the 2025-26 Spring Campaign for the Lady Mustangs as they will return in the Fall for the start of the 2026-27 Season.
