RICHARDSON, Texas – Western New Mexico University senior Arnav Arkanath (Milton Keynes, GB/Sir Henry Floyd HS) has been named to the 2025 Lone Star Conference Men's Golf All-Academic Team.

A native of Milton Keynes, Great Britain, Arkanath continues to excel both on the course and in the classroom. He holds a perfect 4.0 GPA, earning his undergraduate degree in Business Management and Marketing. He is a three-time GCAA All-American Scholar (2022–2024) and the recipient of the Highest Career GPA Award at the 2023–2024 NCAA Championship. He was also named to the LSC All-Scholar Team for the 2023–2024 season.
 
Arkanath's recognition places him among the conference's elite student-athletes, honoring those who demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence while competing at a high level. Nominees for the LSC All-Academic Team must carry a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher, and graduate-level students must meet that standard for both their undergraduate and graduate coursework.

"Arnav is the definition of a student-athlete," said Head Coach Harry O'Callaghan. "He holds himself to the highest standards in everything he does, whether it's tournament play or in the classroom. We're incredibly proud to see his hard work recognized."
 
Arkanath has consistently led the Mustangs throughout his career and continues to be a role model within the WNMU golf program for academic achievement, leadership, and athletic performance.
