Tucson, Arizona - Track & Field continues its 2025 season in Tucson, Arizona. Attending a meet hosted by the University of Arizona, the Mustangs started day two of the 2025 Willie Williams Invite with Women's High Jump & Discus for Field Events and Women's/Men's 800-Meter & Women's 100-Meter Dash.

    On the Women's side,
Naomi Kimble (Animas, NM/Animas HS) competed in the High Jump for the Mustangs.
Naomi Kimble (Animas, NM/Animas HS) placed 11
th with the highest jump of 1.59m (5'2

2"). Passing her previous jump from San Diego but 3 inches!

Daphne Clark (/) competed in the Discus for the Mustangs. She threw 27.21m, placing 28th, just under her last throw in San Diego, California.

Jeannette Rivera (El Paso, TX/Young Women's Leadership Academy) and
Isabella Medina (El Paso, TX/Americas High School) competed on the Women's side in the 800-meter run. Jeannette placed 23
rd with a time of 2:25.50.
Isabella Medina (El Paso, TX/Americas High School) placed 30
th with a time of 2:28.75 for the Mustangs.
Nayeli Cobos (Dexter, NM/Dexter HS) ran the 100-Meter Dash placing 46
th with a time of 13.12 seconds.

    For the Men,
Tristan Pierce (Raton, NM/Maxwell High School) and
Wyatt MacKay (Phoenix, AZ/North Canyon High School) competed in the 800-Meter Run,
Tristan Pierce (Raton, NM/Maxwell High School) placed 19
th for the Mustangs with a time of 1:55.79.
Wyatt MacKay (Phoenix, AZ/North Canyon High School) placed 29
th with a time of 2:00.56.

The Mustangs will travel to Phoenix, Arizona for their next meet. The next meet will be hosted by Paradise Valley Community College and is scheduled for Thursday, March 27 to Saturday, March 29.
