LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The Western New Mexico University Men's Golf Team continued the NCAA South Central/West Regional at University Golf Course in Las Cruces, N.M. with hope of advancing to Nationals in Florida. The Mustangs are currently in third place at (-2), 277-289-566.

Arnav Arkanath (Milton Keynes, GB/Sir Henry Floyd HS) continued his hot streak today for the Mustangs, as he sits T-4th at (-5), 68-69-137. Arkanath has six birdies and an eagle so far. T-6th is Joey Geary (Phoenix, AZ/Sunnyslope HS) at (-4), 65-73-138. Geary made nine birdies so far.

Adam Niles (Kamloops, BC/Valley View Secondary HS) is T-30th at (+3), 74-71-145. Niles recorded five birdies. T-35th is Tomas Ribeiro (Porto Seguro, BR/Evolução Centro HS) at (+4), 70-76-146. Ribeiro scored nine birdies. Max Kaesebier (Bad Langensalza, Germany/Pierre-de-Coubertin Gymnasium) finished out the Mustang lineup T-86th at (+11), 75-78-153. Kaesebier has holed in three birdies.

West Texas A&M is in the lead at (-5). Second place is Colorado Christian at (-4), and holding down third with the Mustangs is Colorado Mesa at (-2).

First place is a three-way tie between Adam Duncan (Colo. Christian), Leandro Mihaich (Oklahoma Christian) and Chris Wardup (CSUSB) at (-6).
