GOODYEAR, Ari. – The Western New Mexico University Women's golf team finished up the RJGA Palm Valley Classic on Friday morning at Palm Valley GC in Goodyear, Ari. The Mustangs took home 5th place at (+21), 289,308-597.
Sophomore
Alexandria Klemke (Goodyear, AZ/Estrella Foothills HS) lead the way, T-16th at (+4), 72-76-148. Klemke had two birdies. T-21st was
Brooklynn Maes (Las Cruces, NM/Centennial HS) and Tayseal Powell at (+5), 72-77-149. Maes made four birdies in the tournament and Powell sunk seven.
T-52nd at (+10) is
Shandiin Harper (Farmington, NM/Piedra Vista HS) with a 73-81-154. Harper has four birdies.
Falyn Lackey (Hobbs, NM/Hobbs HS) rounds out the lineup, T-58th at (+11), 77-78-155. Lackey recorded two birdies.
West Texas A&M took home the tournament title at (-8). Oklahoma Christian finished second at (+10). Third place was held by UT Tyler at (+17).
Rylie Cook of West Texas A&M took home the title at (-6). Ozlyan Juarez of Angelo State finished second at (-3) and Sarah Reed of WT took home third at (-2).

The Mustangs will play next the Lone Star Conference Championships on April 15th.
