PHOENIX, Ariz- Yesterday, the Mustangs competed at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona taking on over 15 other schools.

This week, Veronika Garcia placed top 10 in the meet as she came across line at 1:13.40s in the 400m hurdles. Her performance was followed up by another 10th place finish as Gracey Lovato took 10th in the 1500m with a 4:59.0s.

The men added another conference qualifier this week as Lucas Kedge (Peñasco, NM/Volcano Vista HS) competed in the 3000m Steeplechase. He had a top 15 finish in the field as he ran through with a 10:48.26s time.

Noah Bugeyung had an incredible performance this week as he walked away from the track with a 2:01.14s in the 800m. This personal season best time improved his initial time by three seconds and moved him seven spots up in the conference standings.
