AMARILLO, TX. - The Western New Mexico Men's Golf played the the final round of the Ryan Palmer Foundation at The Amarillo Country Club on Tuesday morning. The Mustangs would finish in 3rd place, as two Mustangs would make the top 15.
Freshman
Anthony Lara (Anthony, NM/Gadsden HS) finished in 3rd place at (-5), shooting 69.
Adam Samnegard (Norrkoping, SWE/Hagagymnasiet HS/Garden City CC) would finish T-14th at (E), carding a 71.
Adam Niles (Kamloops, BC/Valley View Secondary) carded a 72, which would tie him for 25th at (+2).
Senior
Joey Geary (Phoenix, AZ/Sunnyslope HS) finished T-31st at (+4), shooting a 67. Tied for 50th is
Arnav Arkanath (Milton Keyes, GB/Sir Henry Floyd HS) at (+7), carding a 65.
Oklahoma Christian would win the tournament at (-17). Midwestern State would come in 2nd at (-11).
Oskari Nikku and Exequiel Rodriguez of Oklahoma Christian would finish T-1st at (-6).
The Mustangs next match will be Oct. 10th for the Midwestern State Invitational.
