Waikoloa, HI – Playing on the beaches of Hawaii at the beautiful Waikoloa Beach Golf Course, the Western New Mexico University Men's Golf Team is in third after the second day of the Dennis Rose Invitational. 

The Mustangs have three in the top-25 after two rounds including Joey Geary (Phoenix, AZ/Sunnyslope HS) who is -3 throughout the two rounds and has a total of 137. Aaron Perales (Deming, NM/Deming HS) is next in line for the Mustangs who is tied with freshman teammate Arnav Arkanath (Milton Keyes, GB/Sir Henry Floyd HS) for T-14 both carding 142 throughout the two rounds. Perales shot 70 for the day, two strokes better than yesterday. Arkanath once again shot 71 for today's round. 

Adam Niles (Kamloops, BC/Valley View Secondary) had a bit of a struggle today as he dropped a few rankings and scored 76 for the day. He is ranked T-26^th within the entire tournament. Individual Roman Romero (Albuquerque, NM/Manzano HS), is ranked T-37 with (+9) for the two days. Adam Samnegard (T-48^th) carded 74 for the day, an improvement from yesterday's round. 

The Mustangs are tied in first for the most Pars along with Colorado Christian with a total os 122. Western New Mexico is ranked in second for the most Par 4s with a strong hold in Par 3s, Birdies, and Par 5s. 

Joey Geary (Phoenix, AZ/Sunnyslope HS), for the Mustangs, is doing very well as he is in fourth place for the most amount of equal Par 3s and is in second for the most Par 4s. Colorado Christian's Cam Samland is leading the tournament in Par 4s (-4). 

Cam Sandland from Colorado Christian University is leading the tournament (-7) scoring (-9) for the day and a total of 133. CSU San Bernardino's Brian Nielsen was yesterday's leader but now sits in second (-6).
