COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Four Western New Mexico University golfers were named to the All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams Thursday as announced by the conference office.

On the men's side, Calum Hill (Kinross, Scotland/Kinross HS) was named Freshman of the Year and was named to the Second-Team for his sensational first year with the Mustangs. Hill, from Kinross, Scotland, is ranked #100 in the latest Golfstat rankings as he holds a 74.10 average scoring round. He led the team in six tournaments, with three top-ten finishes. He placed in a tie for 13th at the Ryan Palmer Invite early in the season and had a strong showing at the New Mexico Collegiate Cup grabbing third overall. Posted another top-ten result at the GCU Thunderbird Invitational tying for tenth. He concluded the spring season leading the team at the WNMU Intercollegiate by tying for third and tied for 12th at the RMAC Championships.

On the women's side, all three made the First-Team in Arrianna Estrada (Belen, NM/Belen High School), Haley Raymond (Socorro, NM/Socorro High School) and Faylyn Beyale (Fruitland, NM/Kirtland Central High School). Estrada, a junior from Belen, N.M., saved her best golf for last taking the RMAC Championships to be named the MVP, as that came just on the heels of her placing second at the GCU Invite at the beginning of April. She also had three other top-ten finishes including a tie for ninth at RMAC #1, sixth at RMAC #2 and tied for sixth at the RMAC #3. Raymond, a senior from Socorro, N.M., opened the season by placing fourth at the RMAC #1. She finished similar to that in the next event at the RMAC #2 as she grabbed fourth. She made it three straight top-five finishes as she ended up fourth at the RMAC #3. Had a solid spring campaign, posting three, top-ten results and another one just outside the top-ten. She tied for fourth at the RMAC Championships which helped her to be named to the All-Tournament Team, tied for sixth at the Doc Housewright Invite and tied for 10th at the Lady Rattler Roundup. At the St. Edward's invitational, she tied for 12th. Beyale, a senior from Fruitland, N.M., started the golf season out strong by placing in third in the first three fall events, which were all RMAC invites. She then concluded the spring season by tying for fourth with teammate Raymond at the RMAC Championships, which led her to be named to the All-Tournament Team.

WNMU placed sixth at the RMAC Championships on the men's side, while the women dominated in taking the title by 24-strokes.
