COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Western New Mexico University freshman men's golfer
Calum Hill (Kinross, Scotland/Kinross HS) was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week as announced by the conference office Thursday.
Hill shot right around his stroke average so far this spring posting a pair of 74's and a final round 75 to tie for tenth with a 223 (+7) at the GCU Invite. Hill was the top finisher not only for the Mustangs, but also of the RMAC golfers that competed as he bested the next closest RMAC opponent by two-strokes. Hill has put together several solid results for WNMU this season including third at the NM Collegiate Cup, and tied for 25
th at St. Edward's, as in three of the four tournaments he has paced the team.
WNMU will return to action on April 1 and 2 in the Mustang Intercollegiate that will take place in Goodyear, Ariz.
