Los Angeles, CA — The Western New Mexico Women's Golf team finished up the final day of the LA Spring Kickoff, February February 3th, in tied 9th place out of thirteen teams. They finished the day with a three round total of 314-305-319 for a (+74) total.
Alexandria Klemke (Goodyear, AZ/Estrella Foothills HS) led the way for the Mustangs all tournament, finishing in a tie for 6th individually with an impressive three round total of 71-73-76 (+4).
Corynn Speer (Alamogordo, NM/Alamogordo, HS) followed behind with a final round 81 (+9) to end the event with a three round total of 80-78-81 (+23) in T44.
Kelly Peden (El Paso, TX/Eastwood HS) was next for the Mustangs with a three round total of 83-79-80 (+26) to finish in tied 54th individually.
Nicole Jasso (Deming, NM/Deming HS) ended the tournament with a three-round total of 80-75-88 (+27) and finished in a tie for 57th. Rounding out the lineup for the Mustangs,
Falyn Lackey (Hobbs, NM/Hobbs HS) finished the day with a final round of 82 for a three round total of 84-79-82 (+29), placing her in T62nd individually.
The Lady Mustangs will next tee it up at The Dominion Country Club in San Antonio, Texas for the Rattler Invitational, Feb 23-24.
