San Antonio, TX — The Western New Mexico Women's Golf team finished up the first day of the Women's Rattler Invitational, February 23rd, in 15th out of 17 teams. They finished the day with a first round total of 324 and are at +29 through 16 holes of round two for a (+65) total.
Alexandria Klemke (Goodyear, AZ/Estrella Foothills HS) leads the way for the Mustangs, currently in a tie for 51st individually at +13 with a first round of 78 (+6) and is at +7 for round two.
Corynn Speer (Alamogordo, NM/Alamogordo, HS) followed behind with a first round 83 (+11) and is currently +5 in round two for a total of +16 and is in T63.
Falyn Lackey (Hobbs, NM/Hobbs HS) was next for the Mustangs with an opening round 80 (+8) and is currently +11 in round two which has her at tied 71st individually.
Nicole Jasso (Deming, NM/Deming HS) opened up with a round of 86 (+14) and is currently with +6 in round 2 finishing the day with a +20 total and in a tie for 73rd. Rounding out the lineup for the Mustangs,
Kelly Peden (El Paso, TX/Eastwood HS) opened up with an 83 (+11) and is currently at +13 in round 2, placing her in 84th individually.
The Lady Mustangs will finish up round 2 at 08:00am, tomorrow February 24th and will follow with the final round at The Dominion Country Club in San Antonio, TX to finish up the Women's Rattler Invitational.
