Amarillo, TX. — The Western New Mexico Women's Golf team finished up the WT Fall Invitational September 30th in Amarillo, TX with 18 holes at Tascosa Country Club (La Paloma). They finished the final day in a tie for eleventh out of fifteen teams with scores of 309-302-312 for a (+71) total.
Falyn Lackey (Hobbs, NM/Hobbs HS) led the way for the Mustangs, with a final round 75 to finish the event in a tie for 28th out of 82 with a total of 73-76-75 (+11).
Alexandria Klemke (Goodyear, AZ/Estrella Foothills HS) followed close behind with a final round score of 80 to finish the event in T35 with a 76-71-80 (+14) total.
Nicole Jasso (Deming, NM/Deming HS) was next for the Lady Mustangs with a final round 77, to finish at +20 in T52.
Corynn Speer (Alamogordo, NM/Alamogordo, HS) ended the event with a final round 80 which left her at +27 for the event in a tie for 64. Rounding out the lineup for the Mustangs,
Erin Turner (Deming, NM/Deming HS) and individual
Kelly Peden (El Paso, TX/Eastwood HS) both finished on the same total at +31 for the event, placing them in T68.
The Lady Mustangs will take a week off as they are back in action at the NCAA West Regional Preview, October 13th, in Pueblo, Colorado.
