5/7/2025 3:20:00 PM

KOHLER, Wis. – May 7, 2025 - Western New Mexico University's Shandiin Harper (Farmington, NM/Piedra Vista HS) wrapped up her collegiate golf career this week at the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship, finishing 16th overall in the women's individual field with a 54-hole total of 249 (+33).

Harper teed off Wednesday back on the Straits Course at Whistling Straits, where wind gusts topped 30 miles per hour off Lake Michigan, adding an extra layer of difficulty to an already demanding championship layout. She carded a final-round 93, following earlier rounds of 79 and 77.

After a front-nine 49, Harper battled through the gusts to finish with a 44 on the back. Despite the conditions, she maintained focus and composure throughout the round, showcasing the competitive edge that has defined her time at WNMU.

The PGA WORKS Championship is one of the most prestigious events in collegiate golf, featuring top athletes from across the country. Harper's steady play over three days highlighted her poise under pressure and her ability to compete on a national stage.
