The Western New Mexico Mustangs returned to The Yard for a successful home stand, sweeping the Cameron University Aggies in a doubleheader. The Mustangs claimed victory in both games, winning Game 1 in comeback fashion, 13-10 and 7-2 in Game 2.
Game One: Mustangs 13, Aggies 10
The Mustangs' offense exploded with 27 at-bats, scoring 13 runs. Antonya Lucero (Albuquerque, NM/La Cueva High School) led the charge with a 4-for-5 performance, including a home run in the sixth inning. Lauryn Carbajal (Tucson, AZ/Sunnyside High School), Nichole Armijo (Mesa, AZ/Red Mountain High School), and Madison George (San Miguel, CA/Templeton High School) each crossed the plate twice. On the mound, Labraida Tenorio (Rio Rancho, NM/Rio Rancho High School), Madison Kloepper (Llano, TX/Llano High School), and Haiven Schoolcraft (Carlsbad, NM/Carlsbad High School) combined for a solid effort, with Schoolcraft earning two strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Game Two: Mustangs 7, Aggies 2
Alixe De Anda (Queen Creek, AZ/Red Mountain High School) took the circle for the Mustangs in Game 2, pitching a complete game and setting a career-high with four strikeouts over seven innings. The Mustangs' offense delivered once again, with Abbi Markus (Sun City, AZ/Liberty High School), Lauryn Carbajal (Tucson, AZ/Sunnyside High School), Laryssa Morales (Vail, AZ/Cienega High School), and Lanessa Morales (Vail, AZ/Cienega High School) each homering in the victory. The Mustangs finished with 27 at-bats and seven runs in the win.
