Biography
2024 Season:
In Martinez's first year with the Mustangs, she appeared in 47 games. Martinez had a total of 38 hits with six doubles, one home run, 15 RBIs, and a batting average of .299. On defense, Martinez had 69 putouts and 64 assists.
After her first year with the Mustangs, Martinez earned Conference All Freshman Team Shortstop.
High School:
Martinez graduated from Carlsbad High School in 2023. At CHS, Martinez was a two sport athlete, competing on the soccer and softball team. At Carlsbad, Martinez was a 2x State Champion, First-Team All-District, Second-Team All-State, and NM All Star.
Personal:
Martinez has a Great Dane named Rockey and can walk on her hands. In her spare time, Martinez enjoys taking her dog on walks, off-roading, and hiking. After WNMU, Martinez aspires to get in athletic training at the college level.
