High School:
Lucero graduated from La Cueva High School in 2024. At La Cueva, Lucero was a two sport athlete a part of the basketball and softball program. In high school, Lucero earned 4x All District First Team, 4x All District Academic, and 3x All State for softball. She earned All District Honorable Mention and 4x All District Academic for basketball. Lucero also received 2 Year Academic Letter and a 2x Metro Championship. 

Personal:
Lucero was born December 29th. She volunteers for community service with the Special Olympic teams. Her older sister currently plays at ENMU for the softball program. Her mother attended UNM, while her father attended NMSU. In her spare time, Lucero enjoys bible study, working at a restaurant, walking her dogs, watching tv shows, and playing basketball. After WNMU, Lucero aspires to go to graduate school and continue to her masters degree.
