Going against the TAMUK, the Mustangs lost in five innings during the first game 3-14. Their second game against TAMUK ended in seven innings with a score of 9-13.
Game One: Western New Mexico vs. Texas A&M – Kingsville 3-14

She faced 13 batters, 58 pitches, and earned one strikeout for the Mustangs. Coming in to help out, Sophia Solano (Tucson, AZ/Sahuaro High School) pitched 0.2 innings, facing five batters and 16 pitches. Bringing in a third pitcher, Kiya Hamar (Forest Ranch, CA/Pleasant Valley High School) stepped in to pitch 1.1 innings and faced nine batters with 28 pitches and earned one strikeout for the Mustangs.
