PONTE VERDA BEACH, Flor. - The Western New Mexico University Woman's Golf team finished up play at the PGA Works Collegiate Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Verda Beach, Flor. After flooding the Golf Channels social media over the last few days the Mustangs finished 6th at (+99), 303-346-314-963.

Shandiin Harper (Farmington, NM/Piedra Vista HS) led the way, T-13th at (+19), 75-81-79-235. Harper finished with four birdies. Chelsea Medina (Silver City, NM/Silver HS) is T-15th at (+22), 74-89-75-238. Medina made four birdies. T-20th was Taysea Powell (Artesia, NM/Artesia HS) at (+26), 78-84-80-242. Powell had one birdie.

Alexandria Klemke (Goodyear, AZ/Estrella Foothills HS) finished in 29th at (+32), 76-92-80-248. Klemke recorded two birdies. Falyn Lackey (Hobbs, NM/Hobbs HS) rounds things out in 48th at (+50), 90-94-82-266. Lackey sunk two birdies.

Texas A&M Corpus Christi won the PGA Works at (+56). Second place belongs to Howard at (+61), and third place was Delaware State at (+92).


Kendall Jackson (Howard) took home first place at (+4). Lucie Charbonnier (TA&MCC) finished second at (+5) and Samantha Gibbs (T&AMCC) is third at (+9).
