LONG BEACH, CA- The Men's Mustang Track Team heading to Long Beach, CA this week to compete in their first 10K event for the season.

Coach Macario Campos took only a handful of the men to run one more time this school year in California.

The field ranged from D2 level competitors to D1 programs such as Long Beach State, Utah State, Nevada, and Mizzou.

Breaking yet another school record this season was Junior Transfer, Jarred Baca (Las Vegas/West Las Vegas High School), who finished with a Massive 30:46.51min time. This also puts him in the top 5 LSC performance list.

The previous 10K school record was broken last season by Aaron Perez (El Paso, TX/Eastwood HS), with a time of 31:43.87min, which he set at Mesa's Outdoor Invite.

Along with Baca, finishing in the top ten in the field today was Joshua Lara (Albuquerque, NM/Atrisco Heritage Academy HS), who came across at 31:32.99min. This set his new personal best by a min and 8sec.
