PUEBLO, Colo. - The Western New Mexico University Women's Golf Team took place in the Pack Spring Class hosted by Colorado State Pueblo on Sunday morning. The Mustangs finished in third place at (+15) 295-296-591.
T-4th is Freshman Brooklyn Maes at (+1), 71-74-145. Maes had seven birdies and an eagle. Taysea Powel holds 7th place at (+2), 73-73-146. Powell recorded four birdies and a hole-in-one in her practice round.
Shandiin Harper (Farmington, NM/Piedra Vista HS) joins the Top 10 party, T-9th at (+4), 75-73-148. Harper made two birdies and an eagle. T-21st is
Alexandria Klemke (Goodyear, AZ/Estrella Foothills HS) at (+8), 76-76-152. Klemke was good for five birdies.
Freshamn
Falyn Lackey (Hobbs, NM/Hobbs HS) rounds out the Mustangs, T-28th at (+12), 76-80-156. Lackey shot two birdies and an eagle.
CSU Pueblo took home the tournament at E, Simon Fraser finished second at (+10).
Kylie Severin of CSU Pueblo and Meera Minhas of Simon Fraser tied for first place at (-4).
