Dallas, Texas - The WNMU Mustangs Men and Women's Cross Country team continues off their 2024 season at the Old Glory Gallup hosted by Dallas Baptist University. The men would run an 8K, while the women would run a 5K.

The Lady Mustangs as a team take 21^st place out of 46 teams with a total of 715 points. Individually for the women, Aubrey Lozoya (Albuquerque, NM/Cottonwood Classic Preparatory) would finish with a total of nineteen minutes and twenty-one seconds (19:21). Also, in the nineteen-minute mark was Itzela Darkenwald (Conroe, TX/Caney Creek High School) crossing the line at nineteen minutes and thirty-four seconds (19:34). Rayen Martinez () would be close to the others finishing her 5K at twenty minutes and twenty-seven seconds (20:27).

The men's team running an 8K would finish third out of 41 teams with a total of 133 points. Finish first for the Mustangs is Aaron Perez (El Paso, TX/Eastwood HS) with a time of twenty-four minutes and thirty-seven seconds (24:37). Javier Garcia (Gilbert, AZ/Gilbert High School), Jarred Baca (Las Vegas/West Las Vegas High School), and Michael Castorena (El Paso, TX/Parkland High School) would all be part of the twenty-four-minute mark with times of twenty-four minutes and forty-nine seconds (24:49), twenty-four minutes and fifty-two seconds (24:52), and twenty-four minutes and fifty-five seconds (24:55).
