Richardson, TEXAS - The Lone Star Conference released their Cross Country Runners To Watch, as well as their preseason polls for the upcoming 2023 season. The Mustangs would have four runners, (two males, two females) named to the list.
The Women's Cross Country team would be ranked 9th out of 15 teams.
Itzela Darkenwald (Conroe, TX/Caney Creek High School) and
Aubrey Lozoya (Albuquerque, NM/Cottonwood Classic Prep) would be named Runners To Watch for the Mustangs.
As for the Men's Cross Country team, the LSC ranked them 3rd out of 15 teams. Brothers
Aaron Perez (El Paso, TX/Eastwood HS) and
Elias Perez (El Paso, TX/Eastwood HS) would both recieve the honor of being named Runner To Watch For the upcoming season.
