LAKELAND, Fla. - The Western New Mexico University Women's Golf team finished up the Lady Moc Classic at Grasslands Golf and Country Club in Lakeland, Fla. After three rounds in two day the Mustangs would 17th at (+87), 309-329-313-951.
Freshman Alexandria Klemke (Goodyear, AZ/Estrella Foothills HS) would lead the way for the Mustangs T-64th at (+18), shooting a 79 in round three. Klemke would finish the tournament with five total birdies.
Chelsea Medina (Silver City, NM/Silver HS) would finish T-77th at (+22), carding a 78. Medina would finish the tournament with three birdies, all coming in round three.
Shandiin Harper (Farmington, NM/Piedra Vista HS) comes in T-87th at (+25), with a score card of 77 in round three. Harper would finish the tournament with five birdies, including two in round three.
Taysea Powell (Artesia, NM/Artesia HS) finishes the tournament T-90th  at (+27), with a final round of 79. Powell finished the tournament with six birdies, with one in round three.
Mia Trousdale (El Paso, TX/Eastwood HS) rounds out the Mustang lineup T-102nd at (+36), recording an 88.
Lynn University would win the tournament at (-14). Nova Southeastern finished in second place at (+7). Finishing in third place is Anderson (SC) at (+21).
Maria Hoyos of Lynn wins the tournament at (-10). Finishing in second place in Loren Perez of Florida Southern at (-5). Tying for third place was Sara Erickson of Lynn and Olivia Gronborg at (-4).
The Mustangs will be back in action on March 7th for the Southwest Minnesota State Invitational Wigwam Resort – Red in Litchfield Park Ariz.
The Mustangs will be home for their final regular season game against Eastern New Mexico, also known as Senior Night on February 23rd (7:30PM MT). Come on out and support the Nine Mustang Seniors!
