Glen Rose, TX – The Western New Mexico University Men's Golf played the first two rounds of the Lone Star Conference Championships, at Squaw Valley - Apache Links Course in Glen Rose, TX.. The Mustangs end the day in 12th, shooting 302-284 at (+10).
Adam Samnegard (Norrkoping, SWE/Hagagymnasiet HS/Garden City CC) is T-23rd at (-2) ending the day with a pair of 71's. Joey Geary (Phoenix, AZ/Sunnyslope HS) is T-39th at (+2). Geary had a tough first round with a 78 but had a great second round with a 68.
Adam Niles (Kamloops, BC/Valley View Secondary) is currently T-46th and (+4), shooting a 75 and 73. Carding a 78 and 72, Harry O'Callaghan (Leeds, ENG/Priesthorpe HS) is currently T-51st at (+6). Yong To Kim (Seoul, So. Korea/Colegio Han Al Americano) played shot a 78 and 74, putting him at (+8) and T-55th.
In first is Texas A&M International's Marucio Figueroa at (-12), shooting a 65 and 67. Four players are T-2nd at (-10).
Leading the LSC Men's Championship is West Texas who is (-24). No. 16 Midwestern State is (-22) and in second. In third is Cameron, who is (-19).
The Mustangs will continue the LSC Men's Championship at 7:00am MT tomorrow.
