SANTA ROSA, Calif. - The Western New Mexico University Women's Golf team finished their round at the Sonoma State Fall Invitation in Santa Rosa, CA. The Mustangs would finish 4th at (+52), scoring a 628 (315-313), with three Mustangs inside the top 20.

Freshman Alexandria Klemke (Goodyear, AZ/Estrella Foothills HS) led the way for the ladies T-4th at (+8), with a final scorecard of 152 (78-74). Shandiin Harper (Farmington, NM/Piedra Vista HS) would finish at T-11th (+11), scoring a 155 (76-79). Right behind her would be Chelsea Medina (Silver City, NM/Silver HS) in T-18th at (+13), with a score of 157 (82-75).

Taysea Powell (Artesia, NM/Artesia HS) finished T-34th after shooting (+21) , which a card of 165 (79-86). Mia Trousdale (El Paso, TX/Eastwood HS) shot (+23), leaving her the 40th spot totaling 167 (82-85).

In 1st place was Morgan Sjoerdsma from Cal State LA at (+5). In 2nd place is Alli Kim from Point Loma and Claire Shubin from Dominican (CA) whom shot (+7).

The Mustangs wil; be back in action on Oct. 17th for the FLC Nick Turner Inv. in Albuquerque, N.M.

Point Loma would win the Sonoma State Inv. at (+35). Cal State LA would finish 2nd (+41), with Dominican (CA) in 3rd at (+48).
