Santa Rosa, CA- The Western New Mexico University Women's Golf team will finish their round at the Sonoma State Fall Invitation in Santa Rosa, CA. The Mustangs would finish 4th out of 8 teams, with a final score of 315 and would card a (+27).
Shandiin Harper (Farmington, NM/Piedra Vista HS) will lead the Mustangs T5 shooting a 76. Coming in right behind will be
Alexandria Klemke (Goodyear, AZ/Estrella Foothills HS) shooting a 78 placing her at T12.
Taysea Powell (Artesia, NM/Artesia HS) placed T17 for the Mustangs with a final scorecard of 79. Both
Mia Trousdale (El Paso, TX/Eastwood HS) and Chealsea Medina placed T28 with a final score of 82.
Taking a tie for first was Point Loma and Dominican (CA) with a score of 311 shooting (+23). In third place was Cal State LA with a score of 312 shooting (+24). Colorado State-Pueblo will take 5
th place with a score of 317 shooting (+29).
The mustangs will be back in action October 17th for the FLC Nick Turner Invitational in Albuquerque, NM.
