WNMU moved up two spots by the conclusion of the Coyote Classic hosted CSU San Bernardino Tuesday. The Mustangs finished 10th overall (304-301-294 – 899) with
Patrick Beyhan (Albuquerque, NM, La Cueva High School) leading the way with a 34th place finish (74-73-76 – 223).
Central Oklahoma took home the team trophy with four of their five players placing in the top 19 and four of their five players having at least one round below par.
Chico State came in second with an individual medalist in Eric Frazzetta. With the first and third round posting a 6-under par 64, Frazzetta shot 73 in the second round.
WNMU senior
Steven Maxwell (Glasgow, Scotland, Bearsden Academy) jumped up six positions to finish tied for 38th. He had 76s in both the first and second round and then followed with 73 to finish at 225. The remaining three Mustangs were separated by only five shots.
