Hughes was tabbed as the Lone Star Conference Setter of the Week after her strong showings against Cameron and Midwestern State. Hughes set the table with 40 assists and also added two kills, two service aces and 10 digs in the two wins over the weekend. She opened the week with a 24-assist match against Cameron and in that same match added two service aces and seven digs. Hughes helped the team to strong hitting percentages of .369 and .338. She averaged 6.67 assists per set and she has compiled 253 assists and averaged 5.16 per set this season. 

The Lady Mustangs are 10-4 overall and 2-1 in the LSC having won four straight matches.
