Junior outside hitter Angelina Pulu was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference/Baden Defensive Player of the Week.
Pulu continued to be a force at the net for WNMU as she led the team in kills in both matches on the road last week. On Friday in a 3-1 win against CSU-Pueblo, she posted a season-high 25 kills, which is the fourth time she has had over 20 kills. The following night in a 3-0 win over N.M. Highlands, she added 14 kills to post a .303 hitting percentage. She continues to lead the team in kills with now 387 on the season. In addition to her offensive numbers, she led the team in digs both nights. In the first match, she dug out a season-high 29, which was the third time she had reached in the 20's in digs, while adding a block assist and then the next night she tallied 13, to go along with two blocks, one solo. Her 339 digs is also a team-high.
