Rodrigo Almeida was named the RMAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week.
Almeida made it two out of the three weeks that a WNMU player has won the award with Francisco Damasio winning it to start the season. Almeida pulled off an upset in the match against Azusa Pacific, as he defeated the No. 6 player in the nation in three sets, 6-7, 6-4, 10-4 at the top flight. He ended up going 3-1 on the week in singles play pulling off a three-set win over Point Loma at the top flight, 6-1, 0-6, 7-5. He also won his match against Grossmont in straight sets. In doubles against Point Loma, he teamed with Juan Pablo Fuentes to win at No. 1, 9-7.
