Men's Cross Country Pencils in Perez

Silver City, NM – Men's Head Cross Country Coach Macario Campos has penciled his first recruit of the 21' class. The native of El Paso, Texas, Aaron Perez will be welcomed to Silver City and will look to compete in the fall.

"We look forward to Aaron joining us in the fall," said Campos. "He has great character and will fit into our team culture and chemistry immediately.

Perez was a critical part of the Eastwood High School Cross Country Team where they went on to win back-to-back (2018 & 2019) 5A Cross Country State Championships. In his final year at Eastwood, Perez just missed a three-peat, as Eastwood was the runner-up.

"Aaron is one of El Paso's top distance runners and we are excited to have signed him to wear the purple and gold," said Campos.
