Portales, New Mexico - Track & Field continues its 2025 season in Portales, New Mexico, attending the 2025 Lone Star Conference Outdoor Championships hosted by Eastern New Mexico University. Day one of the LSC Championships, the Mustangs competed in the prelim running events only.

           On the Women's side,
Aubrey Lozoya (Albuquerque, NM/Cottonwood Classic Preparatory) competed in the 1500 1500-meter run and finished in 17
th place with a time of 4:51.42.
Vanessa Dominguez (Pecos, NM/Pecos High School) ran the 10000 10000-meter run and finished with a time of 40:26.44, placing 13
th overall.

           On the Men's side,
Jarred Baca (Las Vegas/West Las Vegas High School) ran the 10000 10000-meter run with a time of 31:45.99, placing 5
th overall, earning four points for the Mustangs! Next,
Javier Garcia (Gilbert, AZ/Gilbert High School) finished his 10000 10000-meter run with a time of 32:48.19, placing 9
th for the Mustangs. Right behind him, Sameul Ketcham finished at 33:08.42, placing 10
th, and
Joshua Lara (Albuquerque, NM/Atrisco Heritage Academy High School) placed 11
th with a time of 33:08.42. Last for the Mustangs,
Cameron Shorty (Albuqurque, NM/Atrisco Heritage Academy High School) placed 15
th overall with a time of 33:49.94.
