Dallas, Texas - The Western New Mexico University Men's Tennis team continued its 2025 Spring Season by traveling to Dallas, Texas. In Dallas, they played against Dallas Baptist University and won, 4-2.

In doubles, the No. 1 spot,
Javier Romero (Tlalnepantla, Mexico/ETAC) and
Mael Houee (Rennes, France/Tennis Club de Bruz) took part in a match with F. Rosales and R. Carvajalino, winning 6-2. At No. 2
Alexandre Frigout (/Ozanam/ Saint Jean) and
Birk Arwedahl (Karlskrona, Sweden/AF Chapman) had an unfinished match with J. Altman and A. Langle, 5-6. The No. 3 pairing of
Titouan Rebois (Boulogne Billancourt, France/Notre Dame de Boulogne) and
Quentin Duvinage (Rasheim, France/Lycée Freppel) would win their match to A. Rule and E. Mayorga, 6-4.
As for singles,
Javier Romero (Tlalnepantla, Mexico/ETAC) played No. 1 today, but he lost in two sets to M. Abbey, 1-6 and 2-6. Penciled in at No. 2 was
Mael Houee (Rennes, France/Tennis Club de Bruz), who won his match against J. Altman, 7-3 and 7-6.
Alexandre Frigout (/Ozanam/ Saint Jean) played No. 3 for the Mustangs today who won his match to R. Carvajalino in two, 6-3 and 6-3.
Birk Arwedahl (Karlskrona, Sweden/AF Chapman) was slotted for No. 4 today, taking F. Rosales to two sets and won, 7-6 with a tiebreaker of 7-4 and 6-2. No. 5
Titouan Rebois (Boulogne Billancourt, France/Notre Dame de Boulogne) rounded out today's lineup, against A. Langle losing a match taken to two sets, 4-6 and 4-6. In the final spot penciled at No. 6,
Quentin Duvinage (Rasheim, France/Lycée Freppel) also took partook in an unfinished match against E. Mayorga, 4-4.
Order of Finish:
Doubles: 1, 3, 2
Singles: 1, 3, 5, 4, 2, 6
The Mustangs will travel back home for a match-up against Cameron University on April 11, 2025, scheduled for 1 p.m. MT.
