Tyler, Texas - The Western New Mexico University Men's Tennis team continued its 2025 Spring Season by traveling to Tyler, Texas. In Tyler, they played against the University of Texas Tyler and lost 0-5.

In doubles, the No. 1 spot,
Javier Romero (Tlalnepantla, Mexico/ETAC) and
Mael Houee (Rennes, France/Tennis Club de Bruz) took part in a match with A. Dorofeev and M. Poulesquen, losing 2-6. At No. 2
Alexandre Frigout (/Ozanam/ Saint Jean) and
Birk Arwedahl (Karlskrona, Sweden/AF Chapman) were beaten by J. Garcia and D. Felker, 3-6. The no. 3 pairing of
Titouan Rebois (Boulogne Billancourt, France/Notre Dame de Boulogne) and
Quentin Duvinage (Rasheim, France/Lycée Freppel) would lose their match to T. Short and A. Miquelard, 3-6.
As for singles, playing No. 1 today was
Javier Romero (Tlalnepantla, Mexico/ETAC) who lost in two sets to A. Dorofeev, 1-6 and 1-6. Penciled in at No. 2 was
Mael Houee (Rennes, France/Tennis Club de Bruz) who partook in an unfinished match against M. Despodov, 7-6 with a tiebreaker of 8-6, 2-6, and 4-3.
Alexandre Frigout (/Ozanam/ Saint Jean) played No. 3 for the Mustangs today who lost his match to D. Felker in three 3-6, 6-4, and 4-6.
Birk Arwedahl (Karlskrona, Sweden/AF Chapman) was slotted for No. 4 today, taking M. Poulesquen to two sets and lost, 1-6 and 2-6. No. 5
Titouan Rebois (Boulogne Billancourt, France/Notre Dame de Boulogne) rounded out today's lineup, against A. Miquelard losing a match taken to three sets, 6-4, 4-6, and 4-6. In the final spot penciled at No. 6,
Quentin Duvinage (Rasheim, France/Lycée Freppel) also took partook in an unfinished match against T. Short, 5-7 and 4-5.

Doubles: 1, 3, 2
Singles: 1, 4, 5, 3, 2, 6
The Mustangs will move to Dallas, Texas for a match-up against Dallas Baptist University on April 5, 2025, scheduled for 9 a.m. MT.
