Silver City N.M. – The Mustangs continue their 2025 season at home today, facing the Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals! In Game One, the Mustangs would fall 6-2, with most runs for both teams coming in later innings. Game two got a bit more out of hand with the Chaps bringing in 15 runs and holding the lead throughout the game. The Mustang pitchers did their best to contain the issue but could not stop the offensive barrage instituted by the Chaparrals late in the game. Lubbock Christian secures the sweep 15-4 in game two.
Game One: Western New Mexico v.s. Lubbock Christian University 2-6
Starting on the mound for the Western,
Labraida Tenorio threw 131 pitches, faced 36 batters, and pitched two strikeouts.
