Silver City, New Mexico—The Western New Mexico University Men's Tennis team continued its 2025 Spring Season by staying home. At home, they played against Midwestern State for senior night, losing 1-6.

In doubles, the No. 1 spot,
Javier Romero (Tlalnepantla, Mexico/ETAC) and
Mael Houee (Rennes, France/Tennis Club de Bruz) took part in a match with S. Slocombe and F. Vacula, losing 3-6. At No. 2
Alexandre Frigout (/Ozanam/ Saint Jean) and
Birk Arwedahl (Karlskrona, Sweden/AF Chapman) had a match with B. Sanchez and J. Van Amerongen losing, 2-6. The no. 3 pairing of
Romain Malhomme (Marseille, France/CNED) and
Quentin Duvinage (Rasheim, France/Lycée Freppel) would lose their match against J. Duque and K. Guillou, 2-6.
As for singles, playing No. 1 today was
Javier Romero (Tlalnepantla, Mexico/ETAC) who lost in three sets to F. Vacula, 7-5, 4-6, and 6-10. Penciled in at No. 2 was
Mael Houee (Rennes, France/Tennis Club de Bruz) who lost his match against B. Sanchez, 3-6 and 4-6.
Romain Malhomme (Marseille, France/CNED) played No. 3 for the Mustangs today who lost his match to S. Slocombe in three sets, 2-6, 7-5, and 10-6. Alexandrea Frigout was slotted for No. 4 today, taking P. Kamara to three sets and won 6-2, 5-7, and 10-7. No. 5
Birk Arwedahl (Karlskrona, Sweden/AF Chapman) rounded out today's lineup, against J. Marquez losing a match taken to two sets, 2-6 and 1-6. In the final spot penciled at No. 6,
Quentin Duvinage (Rasheim, France/Lycée Freppel) took partook in a match against J. Duque 4-6 and 3-6.

Singles: 5, 6, 2, 4, 1, 3
The Mustangs will travel to Lubbock, Texas for a match-up against Lubbock Christian on April 18, 2025, scheduled for 1 p.m. MT.
