Silver City, New Mexico - The Western New Mexico University Men's Tennis team continued its 2025 Spring Season by traveling to Dallas, Texas. In Dallas, they played against Southern Arkansas Muleriders and lost 0-4.

In doubles, the No. 1 spot,
Javier Romero (Tlalnepantla, Mexico/ETAC) and
Mael Houee (Rennes, France/Tennis Club de Bruz) lost their match to M. Pinoit and N. Müller, 6-7 with a tiebreaker of 6-8. At No. 2
Romain Malhomme (Marseille, France/CNED) and
Alexandre Frigout (/Ozanam/ Saint Jean) beat U. Diehl and J. Tajima, 6-3. No. 3 pairing of
Birk Arwedahl (Karlskrona, Sweden/AF Chapman) and
Quentin Duvinage (Rasheim, France/Lycée Freppel) would lose their match to D. Wallechner and F. Neumann, 4-6.
As for singles, playing No. 1 today was
Javier Romero (Tlalnepantla, Mexico/ETAC) who lost in two sets to M. Pinoit, 0-6 and 2-6 . Penciled in at No. 2 was
Romain Malhomme (Marseille, France/CNED), before losing against T. Fischer 4-6 and 3-6.
Alexandre Frigout (/Ozanam/ Saint Jean) played No. 3 for the Mustangs today who lost his match to D. Wallechner, 3-6 and 4-6.
Mael Houee (Rennes, France/Tennis Club de Bruz) was slotted for No. 4 today, taking F. Neumann to an unfinished match. No. 5
Birk Arwedahl (Karlskrona, Sweden/AF Chapman) rounded out today's lineup, against J. Tajima with an unfinished match as well. In the final spot penciled at No. 6,
Quentin Duvinage (Rasheim, France/Lycée Freppel) also had an unfinished match against U. Diehl.

Singles: 1, 3, 2
The Mustangs will stay in Dallas, Texas for a match-up against McKendree University and Southeastern Oklahoma State University on March 8, 2025, scheduled for 9 a.m. 1 p.m. MT.
