San Antonio, Texas – The Western New Mexico University Men's Tennis team continued their road trip to San Antonio, facing off against Our Lady of the Lake. Unfortunately, the Mustangs dropped the match 4-2.

Western New Mexico vs. Our Lady of the Lake – 4-2
In doubles play, the Mustangs fought hard but couldn't find a breakthrough:

• No. 1: Javier Romero (Tlalnepantla, Mexico/ETAC) and Mael Houee (Rennes, France/Tennis Club de Bruz) fell to K. Savary and M. Nuziere, 4-6
• No. 2: Alexandre Frigout (/Ozanam/ Saint Jean) and Birk Arwedahl (Karlskrona, Sweden/AF Chapman) were edged by D. Epkenyong and J. Santos, 2-6
• No. 3: Romain Malhomme (Marseille, France/CNED and Titouan Rebois (Boulogne Billancourt, France/Notre Dame de Boulogne) dropped their match to A. Bruno and L. Hernandez, 6-7

WNMU did not see much more success in singles:

• No. 1: Javier Romero vs. D. Epkenyong – 0-6, 1-6
• No. 2: Romain Malhomme vs. Kylian Savary – 1-6, 2-6
• No. 3: Mael Houee vs. A. Bruno – 4-6, 6-4, 3-6
• No. 4: Alexandre Frigout vs. M. Nuziere – 4-6, 7-6, 4-4 (unfinished)
• No. 5: Birk Arwedahl vs. J. Santos – 5-7, 6-0, 2-0 (Match won by default, goes to Western)
• No. 6: Quentin Duvinage (Rasheim, France/Lycée Freppel) vs. L. Hernandez – 6-2, 5-6, 7-5

Doubles: 2, 1, 3
Singles: 1, 2, 5, 6, 3, 4
The Mustangs will be returning to the Lone Star state to take on the University of Texas at Tyler on Friday, April 4^th, 2025. They will begin at 12 PM MT.
